Your child has been diagnosed with Strep Throat...Now What?

Here are a few tips to help you if your child has been diagnosed with Strep Throat.
  • Always complete the full duration of antibiotics prescribed by your physician.
  • Purchase a new toothbrush for your child.
  • Limit close contact with friends and family members for at least 24 hours.
  • Your child should not share his/her food or drink with others.
  • Be certain your child remains hydrated.  They may require extra rest or fever-reducing medication.
  • Your child should return to school only after taking his/her antibiotic for a full 24 hours.

If you should need further advice, don't hesitate to contact our office.
